Painting is a series of black and white photographic prints of drops of paint captured as they fall into water. Yellow, red and blue acrylic paint are used in this project. Each color of paint is mixed with water and matte medium to adjust the viscosity, soaked into a brush, and then is held above a transparent container filled with water. The paint gradually gathers at the tip of the brush, and when it becomes too heavy to hold itself on any longer, it dives into the water. The drop of paint sinks into the bottom of container, and while it travels to the bottom, it constantly changes its own form. I photograph each drop of yellow, red, and blue paint as it is in the middle of this metamorphosis.
